5 Facts About Me (Count Down)

Let's dive in with the fact of the day

2. As a kid my favorite color was Yellow - Yellow symbolizes happiness, optimism, positivity, intellect. Effects of yellow: clarify, inspires, amuses, energizes.

Here is the back story.

As a little girl learning my colors was fairly easy and like any other child, you tend to forget a color or two which is no big deal right?

A specific moment comes to mind, I can't remember how old I was but I must have been between the ages 6-8 years old.

My mom would get home from work, we would have supper, etc(following the normal routine) around 8 my mom would sit with me.

This was my most dreaded time of the day/night, we would do a rundown of the ABC's, name the animal and which color is this game.

I would pass the first two on the priority list without breaking a sweat!

When it was time to play 'which color is this' my mom would point to random objects in the house and ask me what color it is.

"What color is this?" mom would point to the vase that held artificial flowers

"Pink" I smile triumphantly, next object the piano "what color is this?".

"Black" my mom nods "Okay, which color is this?" my mind blanks.

"Come on, you know this color".

I'm sure my face said it all "How come you always forgetting this color. It's your favorite color" the last statement is true and I knew that.

"It's YELLOW, YELLO" my mom would call out in frustration.

So there you have it folk's this is why as a young girl my favorite color was yellow.

And for those who are wondering, I don't have a favorite color right now but I will always remember YELLOW.

Yellow is beautiful And kind. Yellow tastes sour down my throat. It feels like the warmth of the sky. Yellow sounds like kids laughing down the street. It feels like warmth upon my head. Yellow looks like a big circle in the sky. It makes me smile and play. Yellow is my favorite color.
