It's the weekend!!!! :)
It's the last day to post my 5 facts, I hope these short snippets into my life made you think about your childhood, that it brought back precious memories.
Have a great weekend and stay safe!

Let's dive in with the last fact of the day
5. I love Spoken Word Poetry
I remember being introduced to spoken word poetry by one of my youth mates.
The first time I heard "Ready or Not" by Ezekiel and Janette Ikz I fell in love with the metaphors and the playing of words knocked me out for a 6.

The poem would be played on repeat and I'm sure by now I can say it in my sleep.
I sound like a crazy person I know but I honestly don't mind.
In my matric year, I completed my own spoken word poem (it wasn't my first attempt but it's the first one I finished) called 'I should have stayed with the man that loved me first'.
It's a mouth full yet the quickest piece I've ever written and it all came to me while I was walking home from school. I couldn't wait to get it on paper before I forgot, I was so amazed at God looking down at the finished product.
I knew that none of it could have come from me, it could have only been God!
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
~ Ephesians 2:10
