Dear anxious hearts

During this time of the unknown, I want you to know that it might not get better(right now).

The pandemic that took the world by storm, didn't come with instructions and with that being said a entire new set of fears wash over us.

The fear of leaving your home to go to the store, too afraid to touch the items on the shelf, not knowing whose hands were on them and the anxiety it leads to being home bound.

For those who are traveling to work by public transport, boundaries are thrown out the window and regulations are broken.

Those who neglect it all together leaves the smart at heart anxious.

I know its hard to breathe easy but remember that you're not alone. You don't have to carry the burden of knowing tomorrow, today or this very hour. Don't allow it to lay so heavy on your chest.

So remind yourself(in Gods Word, He says): "Come to me all who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and burden is light"

- Matt 11:28-30

In spite of all the draw backs the lock down has caused, it too brought awareness once again how fragile life is and how you should appreciate the little things we take for granted. This challenges us to push beyond our comfort zones and equip ourselves with new skills, discovery hidden talents and dig deeper into purpose with God's stamp of approval written all over it.

What I am learning during the pandemic....

  • Tomorrow isn't promised (God holds the future)

  • Live each day 100 (Be all loving in your truth)

  • Acknowledge that each moments is a gift (Be grateful)

  • Reflect and reinvent (Make time for yourself and your thought)

  • Journal the issues of your heart (Cast your burdens unto Jesus)

  • Read Gods word, have a praise session! (spend time with God)

I have learned so much about myself and I still am. I hope you do too!
