Truth be told

If the truth be told I haven't been able to sit in front of my laptop to share my personal thoughts for a while.
They have been somewhat scattered and written down in notes that I couldn't compile or gel together.
The new year has hit my family and I with a curve ball and all my focus has been on getting through this season on the other side.
'God has been and continues to be faithful through the storm'

In this season I've learned to trust God more, stretched my faith and let go of control.
Letting go is one of the hardest things, we all tend to have moments like this.
Where you realized that you cannot pull in the reins, or counter act the out come but allow God be God and rule as headship over your life.
The fact of the matter is: the life your living is not your own that you were bought at a price that you can never pay back in the same measure yet He doesn't asks' us to.
His heart is open to all who will accept Him and allow Him to reign in their hearts.
Don't turn to God as your last resort , turn to God because His your ONLY resource..
From this sources I can tell you that -it can and at times will be a painfully beautiful processes becoming connected to the vine but I can PROMISE you it is worth it.
In no way, shape or form was I planning on making this a alter call but if this message speaks to your heart. You feel that change needs to take place in your life.
I want you to pray this prayer with me:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior"
If you prayers this prayer with me know that you are made new through Jesus. You are forgiven and loved. Your new journey starts today.
There are 3 things you need to know going forward:
* You are a child of God
* Yesterday is forgotten
* Meditate on the Word( Bible) and pray. Start small 15 minutes out of your day.
Here is the playlist that kept/keeps me going, have a listen to it when you can:
